Forms

Collect responses from the forms on your sites.

Forms you add in the editor (the Contact form and Newsletter sections, and the Form element) are connected to iSelify automatically. When a visitor submits one, the answers land in that site's inbox.

Where to find responses

Open My Sites, choose Settings on a site, then the Forms tab. New responses are highlighted. You can mark them read, delete them, or export everything as a CSV file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

What visitors see

After submitting, the visitor sees a short thank-you page with a link back to your site.

Good to know

  • Publish (or re-publish) a site after adding a form. Forms work on sites you already published too; no edit is needed.
  • Fields without a name are named from their label or placeholder (for example "Email" becomes email).
  • A form that already points somewhere else (for example another form service) is left alone and won't appear in the inbox.
  • Each site keeps its latest 5,000 responses. Export to CSV if you want a permanent copy.
  • Spam is reduced with a hidden trap field and a per-visitor rate limit.
  • For safety, fields named like passwords or card numbers are never stored.
  • Each response can be up to 200 KB, 50 fields and 5,000 characters per field.

Sending from your own code

A script on your site can also post JSON to the form address. Replace SITE_ID with the site's id:

fetch("https://YOUR-DOMAIN/api/forms/SITE_ID", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: { "Content-Type": "application/json", "Accept": "application/json" },
  body: JSON.stringify({ name: "Ada", message: "Hello" })
});
