iSelify (“we”, “us”) lets you build and publish websites. This policy explains what information we collect when you use iSelify, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile details Google shares with us.
- Content you create: the sites, pages, text, images and files you upload or publish, and submissions made through forms on your sites.
- Usage and technical data: basic analytics such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, plus logs needed to keep the service secure.
- Cookies: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in flows. We do not use them to sell your data.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, we request only your basic profile and email address (the openid, email and profile scopes). We use them to create and identify your account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. iSelify’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- To provide, host and secure your account and published sites.
- To send essential emails such as verification and password reset messages.
- To investigate abuse reports and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To understand how the service is used and improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run iSelify, such as hosting and file storage (Vercel), our database provider, and our email provider, and when required by law. Anything you publish on a site is public by design.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your sites at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data using the contact details below. Some records may be kept for a limited time where needed for security or legal reasons.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
iSelify is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
